Garden Of Hope

Editorial design

I worked with Access For All to illustrate and design a children’s book for neurotypical kids, aimed at fostering empathy for neurodivergent peers. The task was to illustrate the story provided by the organization using any Indian art form style and design the book’s layout.

THE IDEA

We chose the Warli art form for its simplicity and powerful storytelling through minimalistic shapes and patterns. Its clean, geometric style made it perfect for conveying emotions and actions in a way that young readers could easily understand and connect with. We used traditional Warli motifs with playful elements to create visuals that celebrated Indian culture and highlighted the book’s message.
